Well 21 days left to go. I talked to the owner of the 38 acre place n she said deer be comin to the pond fer water. Soon as my replacment seat fer climber gets here. I will go put it on a tree by the pond n put cable lock on it n wait

I have to get my farm tags this week. Nice and cool this morning. Local weather forecast for next week shows temps. going back to the 90's F. Going to check my food plot and shooting house today. Just thankful I feel ok today.
Looking forward for season to begin.

Mike, I put my seats in this weekend and pulled cards and did my weekly feeding. I have 8 different bucks between 2 of my stands with 3 shooters. Getting lots of doe and fawn pics also and occasional bear pics. I'm getting worried though because acorns are starting to fall and they'll leave my corn alone for a tasty white oak acorn, Sept. 12th can't get here soon enough.

Yeah .. That kinda ruined the mood a little. Sure was nice with lows in the 50s and highs in the 70s and 80s


I'm putting stands out today on public land. And will relocate some stands from one piece of private to another next weekend.

I worked here n there this mornin, nutten to do wid my huntin. Its already poppin low 90's. I have gotten out of it tryin to get cool under the Fan. I am ready to start sightin in Captain Morgan late this afternoon if'en it drops to the 80 degree area.

10 days n a wake-up, startin to get abit of deer huntin fever.

6 and a wake up, weather says low of 52 and high of 66.

Knocked 90 here today, i was worn out once i got done out in it. reworked our Battery Bank fer Solar panels. That campin trip cost us 4 6volts that went bad. Fridge pulled too hard too long wid no sun, mostly clouds while we were gone.
