Skeeters i can deal wid n those nasty red bug/chiggers. The 90 degree temps n a dead deer wid lots of flys is more than i care to fool wid

Yep, screw all the early season bugs during the heat. I killed a doe a couple years ago on Sept 15, and in the 10 min I waited to go get her, she was covered solid in black files and mosquitoes!!! It was sick. I couldn't get it home fast enough to gut and skin her out, then get her on ice. Told myself that was the last hot weather deer I was ever gonna get.

In my part of the woods, also have Yellow Jackets to deal with. I don't hunt deer when temps get above 85 . I wonder how the Native American Indian dealt with all the pest.

Happy Trails

Well get after the Fuzz covered Bucks, here we have a few still in velvet at the start of season. Yellow Jackets here also lots of them. I hook up my Fan on high n skin the tick toter while Fan makes it much easier blowin the insects away from my workin area
