Sept-12! I have three ladder stands all set and ready to hunt. I have one more i need to clear some brush out for shooting lanes. Lots of tracks and big bucks running around. I can shoot 2 bucks and almost unlimited doe @ $12 a tag.

My truck will be loaded my Rebel Battle Flag will be Flying, my Pitbulls will be howling, They know its hunting time. And the final touch a little Merle Haggard on the cd player followed by some Hank Williams Jr....Life just don't get no better..Smile...

Oh yea Vix... Aug 15 in the Low Country. It'll be in the low 90's for sure,,, last year I pulled a tick off a skeeter that landed on my leg...

This exact thought crossed my mind today and prompted my to see if the Virginia regulations have been posted online yet. Alas they have not and will not be until 10 July. But, if the season starts like last year then I've got 65 days to wait.

Its gearing up to be a doe season here. I haven't seen any bucks at all on my trail cameras that I would put on a "hit list". Doe taste better anyway.
