M330 is a keeper

Post by deadeer »

I got to take a few shots with my new to me 330. All I can say is wow! Previous owner already had it sighted in, so all I did was reassemble it after the ride here and shot it. The Hawke xb30 was right on the money at the 20-40yds I shot from. It sure is light and balanced compared to my 10pt, which will be going up for sale now. I can see why you guys are so head over heels for these Excals! They have it going on. I have been reading along for a few years and finally decided to jump on board. Looking good so far. Thanks.

Welcome to the 330 group :)
I think the 330 is becoming very popular as a mid range crossbow.
Easy enough for smaller framed as well as beat up old guys like me to cock and shoot. They are big enough for most hunting situations, and a lot of fun to shoot. Just don't shoot at the same bullseye twice or you will soon learn how expensive it is to replace arrows. I have 9 bullseyes on my target and shoot at each one only once before retrieving my arrows.
My target came with 5 bullseyes on it, but I used a magic marker to add a few

Another vote here for the Matrix 330. Mine is a kepper as well... :)

Jeff has the coolest 330 going, love that MOTS pattern. I'd like to make a 330 Blackout with a black mainframe and riser someday. 8)

I think the M330 is an excellent middle of the road Crossbow. Mine has the black grips and I added a black X-tender to the butt. Definitely cool looking bows and great shooting. Good choice. :D
