Now that I've compared different crossbow models in the internet, read much and talked with people in this forum, I've decided to order an Excalibur (Exomag)!
I read about Horton, Barnett, Ten Point, Great Lakes, Parker, Browning... but in the end Excalibur seems to be the best choice.
I live in Europe and in most countries here hunting with crossbows is not allowed so I'll use it only for target shooting.
Even though I don't understand the law which allows to harm animals in long transports to slaughterhouses without giving them something to drink for lots of hours but saying hunting with a crossbow is illegal, I have to respect it.
The things that I like about crossbows is how they work, that they're old and modern at the same time and that they went along with men since hundret of years.
So target shooting with a crossbow will be a pleasure for me, I'm sure.
I can't wait 'till I get my Excalibur and I want to thank all of you for helping me in my decision!
So soon I'll join the big Excalibur family!
Best wishes,
Richard

Richard,
Congrats on the new crossbow! Although it may be difficult to hunt in Europe with one, it should be a pleasure shooting the finest crossbow made. Perhaps a Canadian safari might be in your future, where you could come and hunt with your crossbow. Maybe even with some of the guys on this forum.
Regardless, enjoy. And as a friendly reminder, shoot only one bolt per bullseye. Then again one robin-hood for a keepsake and as a testimonial to Excalibur's accuracy wouldn't be so bad.
