Best Broadhead???

Post by SLP82 »

This is a poll for just opinions... I have never used any of these but from my extensive reading others reviews, including some "professional" reviews, these seem to round up some of the best broad heads. I am sure I left a few out... feel free to list them below as well if your favorite is not here. I would like to try all of these :D

Slick Tricks, either Magnums [1 1/8" cut] or Standards [1" cut].

I quit trying and testing once I shot them....

Slick tricks. Fly great, good blood
Nap FOC (recently bought. Excited to try, Still untested but highly recommended)
G5 striker mag- great results with the kill I had, grouping was larger than I liked.
Shwacker-was not impressed with this broadhead
Boltcutter- no animal kills but grouped well, and it killed the steel tool Box I had behind my target. The broadhead was unscathed and looked brand new a year later when I finally found it. Lol
Xact- flys good, kills good. Shot deer and yotes with these, but one shot use due to aluminum body distorting after contacting bone.

Broadheads are trial and error and there are thousands out there. Good luck! It can be fun...and expensive

There are a lot of great broadhead choices, I don't think there is a "best".It's a personal flavour thing.I have 3 fixed blades that shoot great and I have complete confidence in.
Muzzy MX3,Slick T mag and WASP Drone.I suspect the G5 Striker and Wac,ems would also shoot similar.
Ibex SMF-S5-TactZone-BE Zombies/blazers
Wasp Jak Knife,Drone.

Your gonna get a ton of different answers that's for sure lol I have only used the X-Acts, fly like my field points and kill deer. I tried Toxic just yesterday and out to 35 yards they flew the same as my field points as well, hopefully I will stick a deer this year to see how they perform.

Best broadheads are the ones you have confidence in, from testing the head yourself. Everyone will have their own opinion due to personal experience.

For the price, and quality it is hard to beat the NAP Thunder Heads. I go back to them all the time after trying this, and that. I'm going to hunt with the NAP Spitfire Maxx based on all the good reviews I read. I did shoot them, and field point accuracy is proven. For many reasons you will get many answers on this topic, and all are from people that have used them, so the reviews will be experience based, can't go wrong there!
