You can't have bait out in Virginia during the hunting season. I figured if I put out a 30# food block in early July, certainly it will be gone before September. I had no idea it would disappear so quickly. Based on my trailcam, one deer sniffed it and then it was gone.

This looks like a nice place for it.

A cursory look in the surrounding area yielded no clues. It appears the thief made a clean getaway and the property will never be recovered.

Live and learn. I won't be placing any more of those.

He looks just like the jerk that tore up my corn feeder here in WV. He must be part of a traveling ring.
