Quieting an Axiom

Post by WNYBILL »

I wasn't going to worry about noise, but was shooting and an experienced bow hunter commented on how loud my Axiom was. Is there something I can do to the Axiom to quiet it?

There is no comparison to vertical bows, don't even think in those terms when it comes to noise. The first time I shot my Ibex, I thought it broke!
You can do a whole lot of things, but you will see minimal reductions for each one. There are some folks here that have done a lot, and God Bless them for sharing, but I think you'll be just fine if your shots on reasonably relaxed game within 40 yards!
Stormdragon on this forum, and several others have posted there tricks, and some have even posted links to videos of them shooting, reach out to them, and good luck!
