No opening weekend for me

Post by BrotherRon »

Season opens Sept 12'th here. Sept 14'th is our 30'th wedding anniversary.
My wife thinks we are going to spend the weekend at our cabin so that I can hunt, and I have not told her anything different. What she does not know is that both our son and daughter (and son inlaw) will be showing up at our cabin for a surprise 30 anniversary party. Our son will also be doing the honors as we renew our wedding vows. It has been almost a year since our daughter has been home for a visit from Detroit. Both kids have been pretty good about keeping things a secret from their Mother.
Now to see if I can find a T shirt that says "Yes Dear" on the front so I can wear it that weekend

You will be rewarded many times over for this suprise. You both will never forget this day. Congrats on #30. Most don't get to 3 let alone 30. I just had 21 this month and am lucky to have her in My life.

I hope you both have a truly blessed day with many more anniversaries to come.

Congratulations! 30 years is something to celebrate for sure. You can always go hunting another time.

My thoughts as well.
There will be plenty of other opportunities for me to hunt.
Spending that weekend with my lovely wife means more to me.
She has put up with a lot from me over the years, and my most recent addiction to crossbows isn't too bad....."Yet"

Congratulations B.R.. You certainly don't hit the thirty years mark by thinking of yourself first. Well done. :D ....btw, your wife may enjoy a new crossbow and all the fixens as a fine thirtieth wedding anniversary present!    ....My wife's birthday is in a week, I'm thinking a new M380. (kidding of course)
