Mechanical heads for micro 335

Post by Pistol Pete »

New to bow hunting, I have a micro 335, been practising with 150 gr field . Bought some 150gr B.A.T. Can I shoot 125 gr rage Mechanical heads? What is the lightest head I can safely shoot and not damage my bow?

If memory serves me right, the stock quills with 100 grains put you at 354 grains total weight. I would not go under 125 grain heads with the aluminum front inserts used in the quills.

I just picked up some 125 gr Rage Mechanical heads. The owner of Ten Point Archery in Chelmsford set me up and I am very pleased. With luminok and the 125 gr heads my micro 335 is shooting at 324 f p s
