String waxing and torque specs?

Post by FORVOLS »

So I missed the FEDEX man yesterday for my M355 delivery. So thought I would ask a few questions.

For a new bow do you take the string off and wax it or just leave on the bow for first waxing?

Also are there torque specs for the bow fasteners and for the scope mount screws and rings?

I would take the string off and wax it and don't forget the loops , Wipe any excess wax off . Then install the string and ADJUST BRACE HEIGHT to 3/4" from Riser/rail joint . You'll need a stringing aid to do these things . Don't know about torque specs , Just always use common sense when tightening aluminum fasteners . Hope this helps !
