Hey Everybody! Ain't posted I some time. Been busy helping my brother out. He's got bone marrow cancer. But he's feeling better lately.. Been real busy on my cabin and property. Pop in daily to keep up.. This year i managed quite a lot work on my place. Had a 30 ft culvert put in. Got through the electrical permits and inspection,had DTE trench line underground to my cabin, and I Finally have power.

Built a bridge,. Put up a tripod over plot.

Started my inside cabin work. I ordered 900 sq ft of 1x8 end match tongue and groove from the Amish sawmill... Picked up wood. Had a buddy help...And got to work.

Getting ready for hunting. Gonna eas back on the work a little. Time to enjoy the season... But I'll put on some polyurethane , carpet the 2 lofts and put in the flooring gradually in between hunts :D . Pulled camera card and found this fella trespassing in my yard!! :shock:

That all looks great Rex. Really the tongue and groove pine. Great smell when you first put it up is it not? That will last and last. What seal are you using? Are you going to stain it or leave it natural. I'd let it natural and just seal it. Really a cool get away. Congrats!!

I'm goin with min wax clear satin. And I literally bring the smell home with me.. It's great! :lol:

Very nice. I really like how finished wood looks inside and outside of a house. I just like things that are made from wood.Great Job you did. I'll be praying for you and your family. Have a safe and successful hunting season.

Looks great Rex I love tongue and groove pine. I had a log cabin built about 10 years ago and had my whole house tongue and groove white pine with a clear polyurethane added. That's a very nice get away to relax and have fun.
