The use of string silencers

Good Day to all

Does anyone out there use string silencers with any success

I would like to try them but I do not want my Exocet to loose too much speed.

I use tarantulas on my compound vert bows,but have no use what so ever for string silencers on a xbow. I have used tarantulas and fuzzbusters on my wolverine and exocet, but they didn't quiet thexbow to any degreeand after about 15 shots sort of looked real uglyand the tarantula started to lose parts and the fuzz busterjust went out of shape.
