im shooting a Pheonix and have some questions.

what is the best length arrow for this bow ? i currently have 20" Firebolts but plan to order some Zombies & use 125g fixed broadheads.

is there a particular string i need for this bow ? or can i use the same as other bows ? plan to upgrade string before Oct 1st

20 inch is fine but some use 18inch for a lighter total arrow weight. 100 gr.or 125 heads work equally well. The factory string works good but most on the forum feel that a handmade flemish string is smoother and quieter when shot. Plus they can be made to order by color and strand count. There are a number of talented string makers here. Just check out the Trading Post.

You will do great with 20" arrows. Most cut them down to clear the broadhead inside the stirrup a bit for hanging the bow when in a stand. If you have clearance, stay at 20".

Yes, 20" is fine.

And since Vixenmaster is modest I will put in a plug for his flemish strings.

I have been shooting one of his strings for about 8 months now and it is sweet.

Unfortunately, even though the one I'm using is in Washington Redskins colours, it didn't help the team on opening day (damn Dolphins)
