2015 moose hunt

Post by munch »

Nothing to report after a couple days , it does not look good it has not even froze here yet and everything is green . Did have one walk down our tracks yesterday morning and think he was raking the trees behind Aaron but would not come out . Started 3bear baits Friday and will check after 10am today to see if they have been hit. We chased a huge black wolf off the bait we call the bear tree when we checked yesterday . If we got a hit last night I may put the little man in a stand tonight just to keep him entertained . Also could not sit in the bush without a theromcel the Mosquitos are just thick

Thanks Monica the moose started moving last night . We watched a big bull swim across the end of packwash lake at 430 this afternoon . There where small white caps and he turned back for shore then 5 min Katerina he made the swim . Was neat to see him shake the water off when he stepped out . He had somthing on hus mind and had to go . It's windy so hard to hear if they are calling just hope we càn hold out till one gets rut crazy and comes I. To see us . Saw a nice lynx as well in the morning
