Warranty

Post by The Chief »

I just sent in my limbs from my 380 Fri. because of a crack on the left limb, they were received by Woodies on Monday. My question is does any one know how long it really takes to get them back. It is archery season here in Ga. and I really need my 380 ASAP.

....I reckon you'll have those suckers within 48-72 hours....let me know if I was right!....but then again I went through the back channels of Excalibur who contacted Woody's who sent them out overnight...

Chief,

Woodies is decent on turn around time....You should be good on that, BUT, did you know that you can buy 'blemished" limbs directly from Excalibur? That way you have a spare set ready to rock. The blems do not appear as bad as the word "blemish" makes them sounds either. You can also ask for a certain deflection # and they will try to accommodate you. The cost for the lims are $80.00 plus shipping.. If you are going to buy them, ask Dawn to include the 4 shoulder bolts and the plastic sleeves the limbs rest on as they sit on the riser. Having a set is well worth the cost of them and the "Blemish limbs"....ready for it....wait.........wait........ok, they are also covered under the Excalibur warranty. BOOM. Talk about a company protecting the customer....No one finer than Excalibur..

Peter made this offer on August 13 and quite a few here including myself have taken advantage of it and I've not seen one negative post regarding these blem limbs as backups.

X2...perfectly said Ed...I offered my "extra set of blemished blackout limbs" to the Chief if his back was against the wall....but I think he will be pleasantly surprised!

Was four days turn around time for me. Woody's had the new scope packaged up and shipped it out the same day they received my old one ;)

My new limbs were at my door two days after they received the old ones. I am in NW GA so my guess is you will get them as early as tomorrow and definitely by Friday.

As a note, we are extremely swamped as usual this time of year so the turn around time may be a little slower than normal. We are doing our best to get peoples items shipped ASAP. We appreciate everybody's patience.

Has the blemish limbs really the same warranty? At moment I have a limb issue and i wait for my new limbs. But I have blemish limbs too, and if they are under warranty too i don't have to wait for the new limbs.
