DANNY MILLER TOP MOUNT

Post by paulaboutform »

Just a question. Does anyone have a Danny Miller top mount quiver holder. I heard they're different from Munch's and was wondering what they looked like. If someone could post some pics I'd sure appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi Paul,
The 2 bows in my Avitar have Danny Miller top mount quiver mounts on them. On my iPad it's a simple matter of blowing them up. I'm sure others will post pics but this will give you an idea.

Has Dan changed the mounting system?
The one I had fit on the front sight dovetail (on the Phoenix).

Wabi, he still sells those, but had to have a new style since the Matrix and Micro don't have dovetails for sights.( or any other provision for that matter) Those older style quiver mounts are the best overbow mount there has been in my opinion.

Old thread but wanted to bump it up to see if anyone could tell me if Danny still makes these? Looking for a top mount for my 380. Not looking to spend much and this design looks pretty cheap/simple. May try to make my own as well if anyone has any DIY ideas.

There a lot of posts online of dislikes of the obstruction.

Bigrak, I doubt very much you will notice the slim quiver mount post when about to pull the trigger on a nice buck.

I was thinking more of the quiver itself being in the way.

Bigrak, i've always felt the same way about the quiver being in the line of sight,it wasn't until I went to Danny's shop to see one and I realized it doesn't affect your line of sight , most people remove their quiver when hunting anyway. I like how it keeps you arrows up out of the dirt when you set your crossbow down on the ground. if you hunt with the red dot and shoot with both eyes open yes the post is there but it's no biggie. jmho.
