Range finder

Post by BrotherRon »

Been wanting to get a range finder for some time now and finally broke down and bought one since I sometimes have difficulty judging distances or remembering which trees were 20, 25, and 30 yards.
I ended up buying the Simmons LRF 600 for 98.99 on sale at fleet farm.
It seemed a lot clearer than the 200.00 Nikon and also has the tilt intelligence which the Nikon did not have. I will be using it for deer hunting and target practice with my crossbow out to 60 yards. It seems very accurate at those distances. I never owned one before... Did I do ok with my choice??

Thanks
Ron.

That's a lot of features for a good price, if it holds up, and does what it is supposed to do, win / win.

I bought the Simmons 600 range finder off the Cabelas Website and got a free pair of Simmons binoculars. Both came in a foam padded hard plastic case.Total $114.00 not counting shipping. Not a bad deal.I think the binoculars are 8x42.
