Good job .looks like a nice clean kill

It look's like "Good Eatin' in your home this winter. :mrgreen:

Out here it seems our deer numbers are in the bottom of the bucket... so I guess that could be called a "drought" . Of course you all look to have gotten sooooo much more rain than we did this past year.. :roll: :cry:

Gene,
We had plenty of rain this spring & early summer, but when it dried up enough to get several food plots tilled & seeded the rains stopped. :roll: Rain seemed to pass the farm slightly to the north or south every time it did rain. I even had much more rain here at home (about 3 miles from where I hunt) than we got at the farm I hunt.
As for deer, last year was really bad. The previous summer was dry and a lot of deer were congregating at the few water sources available. EHD took a huge toll. Last year I gave the does & fawns a pass. I took one shot all season, and an unnoticed tree limb was the only thing injured by that arrow. :oops:
