I heard they've made a deal with HCA and will be promoting the ultra light, super stiff spined arrows. A complete 18" arrow will weigh about just under 190 grains and will launch out of the 405 at approximately 580 fps. I've read that these arrows can handle a great amount of frontal impact but not to shoot groups because of the super thin wall. Apparently you need to shoot their High Country ultra light broadheads.

I do not ever see Excalibur selling a crossbow that shoots over 500 fps. You see in Canada, the 500 fps benchmark is where the device requires a PAL to purchase it and if the Gun registry ever comes back, it would need to be registered.
