No worries, a clean miss is far better than bad hit and it doesn't sting nearly as bad as the thumb pictured below in another thread.

And if they're 32 yards and you use the 20 yard crosshair you'll shoot right under them.
Don't ask - it still stings.

It will just make you more satisfied on your next shot opportunity when your arrow sizzles through the kill zone... :)

Yeah figures to the only deer I saw all day here in pa an a decent buck for this area. Weather was just horrible here. My wife saw three does at 25 yards but passed on them cause she didn't feel comfortable with the shots, I'm proud of her an she fell in love with the Excalibur cub she use to have a Horton scout which she is now selling to her brother lol

You haven't got your setup in your profile so I'm not sure what you're shooting. I'm shooting an M380 with a 384 grain arrow at about 367 fps. With this set my HHA Optimizer at 33yards and that puts me 2" high at 20yards and 2" low at 40yards. That works well for my hunting mode. Maybe you could dial in your rig similarly? Zero at 25 yards = same mark out to 35 yards? It may be worth playing with it. Just a thought.

Okay, so if you set your zero at 25-26 yards, where are you hitting at 20yards and where are you hitting at 30yards?
