I do believe that today was one of the most blessed days of hunting that I've ever had. We didn't see anything, not even a squirrel. But having my 6 year old daughter in the blind with me was one of the greatest times. She loved it and can't wait to go again. Now, she just needs proper hunting boots, because her feet got wet.
God's wonderland is truly beautiful, especially when you spend it with one of your two best friends.

Now then, get your equipment, your quiver and bow, and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

You're right Brother, it truly doesn't get better than that. She kept saying, "I wish we could shoot a deer." She loves fresh backstrap in gravy over mashed potatoes just as much as I do.

Awesome indeed!! Surely a day you will both remember for a long time to come. Wishing you both many more hunting days together.

[/URL] i remember when my daughter was little i scouted turkeys .they were everywere no way we werent gonna get one on the youth hunt . The day came n went she hung in like a trooper not a turkey all morning. Its the first lesson she learned. We had a great breakfast after. My daughters got older never really got the hunting bug but man do they fish . Not a problem we spend a lot of time fishing. Enjoy them there like little sponges n they grow up so fast.now the boyfriends gotta come in the boat ...lol. great times. Lbj

Very nice. Enjoy the time with your family. I did not get out to hunt this weekend. Yesterday, house warming party at my daughters new house. Today, I have my Mother all day, she suffered a serve stroke about 18 months ago. It's all good, but the days do fly by.
Next time, let her do the makeup!
God bless, enjoy many, many days together!

There's nothing better than passing your passion for the outdoors onto a son or daughter.
Enjoy your time with her TB1, they grow up so fast!

That is awesome ! ... Like I said before " some people just get it " ... spending time with family and friends in the field > can't get any cooler than that !
Reminds me of when my daughter was young and use to tag along ... many memories ! Now she is older and away at school but we keep in tough pretty regular .
Awesome picture of you and your daughter in the blind ! ... They grow up so fast !

That's awesome!! I am planning on taking my 16 year old daughter out this weekend. We scouted together this fall and finally have a weekend to get into the woods (after 2 Homecoming dances). Can't wait!!
