...I have seen where some of our NJ contingent have been hit with the flu bug resulting in lost days in the woods...

...Last year I started taking Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar three or four times a week and have had nary a sniffle or a fever while the household was sick around me...I do recommend getting the flu shot however...especially for us older brethren...

....hopefully all will get past this and spend many a day afield!

you can get it at most stores. this is also the time of year to make your own. get a gallon of "sweet cider" from a roadside stand. it can be pasteurized just no
preservatives.
put in a glass bottle and add a cup of sugar or 2. (helps to warm some cider to dissolve the sugar. you can use a bubbler or just a balloon with a pin hole over the top. when it stops bubbling or balloon goes flat you have hard cider. now get a little motts or braggs vinager with MOTHER. add a little to the cider and cover with a cheese cloth in a warm dark spot. after a few weeks there will be a layer of mother covering the top. once this is there the juice under is ACV.

Thanks my friend for this informative post. You know I regularly make Green drink in morning. I add apple cider vinegar too along with veggies and fruits. I feel it makes my drink digestive and even tastier.

ACV is my heart burn cure. It's awful but it works.

For colds and flu I take oregano oil (I like the Costco one best) a few drops a day seems to keep me from getting most of whatever is going around.

I just ordered a quart to try. I also want to see if it helps with my digestive system.
I'll probably get my annual flu shot when I go to the VA next month, I do think the flu shot helps.

How much do you take Anthony? I see everything for 1tsp to 2tbsp / day recommended online.
