Do any of you guys have tips on strightening vanes? I had a bolt go in a bit deep on a hay bale and the vanes are all wrinkled.
Thanks in advance!

gad nice tool, richardS vanes that are all wrinkled do not hurt the bolt/arrow flight just looks bad. I read some where maybe on the forum or in a book that one could use a hair dryer and remove the wrinkles. I do not know if it works or not

RichardS I used a hair dryer on my plastic vanes, and it worked out fairly good. Better than before anyway. Hope this helps.

Sorry!
I have understood that he wants to straigth the shafts, not the vanes.
Don't know why my brain places tricks on me sometimes.

What I have found to work the best is to put a kettle on the stove and bring it to a boil. Hold the fletches in the steam and watch them straighten.
shoot straight stay late.
