After being sick and down in my back, for 3 weeks, I got to go hunting yesterday evening. Saw 2 turkeys and a few deer.
This evening I walked back to my hunting house/food plot at 4 pm c.t. A doe was already feeding in the plot and she vacated. I got settled in the house and the little button buck came in at 5 pm. about 5:10 pm a mature doe came in. She was nervous and jumpy and I think it was the one I spooked. At 5:15 I took my shot. 21 yard pass thru. Arrow stuck in a stump behind the doe. She ran 40 yards. Blood trail begin at 15 yards from where she was standing when I took my shot. I'm excited as this is my first Excalibur Crossbow Kill. This bow is Fast and powerful. Thanks to my wonderful wife for buying it for me.

O.T. I just found out about 30 mins. ago that one of my daughters is going to have a baby BOY! Not much sleep for this old guy tonight. Excited about this wonderful day. Thank you Jesus.

Thanks everyone. Thank you Anthony and yes, the M380 is Scary Fast. Excalibur makes it happen for so many. I remember the very first shot I took with this bow, at a target set at 20 yards. What I said out loud was WOW. I was carrying on a conversation with myself - out loud. Guess this is part of being old.
