brace heaight on a 405

Post by ohiobuck »

I am a bit unsure on my brace height. All the excaliburs I have seen in the store have clearly visible lines for brace height. I have a very faint line on mine. It actually looks like it may just be the normal spot the string rests. I had to adjust the string today. the bumpers were being rested on. I gave about 4 twist to back it off about .25" It is just behind the mark I mentioned. Is there supposed to be a clearly etched line in the 405s?

I recommend you set it 3/4" from the Riser/Rail joint , And also should keep the string at least 1/4" off the bumpers at all times .
