A Lot of Help These Two Are

Post by TheBig1 »

Yesterday's scouting trip is a long story but by the time we got home at 2000, I got my son's hunting laundry done, ate dinner, and completely packed for the day it was 2300 by the time I went to bed. Kids went at 2100 and 2200. I couldn't fall asleep and then at 2330 got a hellacious leg cramp so I didn't get to sleep until after 0001. We were up at 0430, showered, ate breakfast, got dressed and made the 45 minute drive to our new spot. In the blind at about 0630.

We'll by 0730 this is what I see.

Now then, get your equipment, your quiver and bow, and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

No doubt this is what it's all about! Now my son has the wool blanket that I brought completely covering him and his head. He's a hot mess!

The blind is a Big Game hub blind. I bought the Drury Outdoors edition at Gander Mountain on sale last year. I like it but I don't know what the difference is between this and their blind that looks exactly like it for about $100 cheaper. But I have it for the kids and it's great.

Well they're awake now. After a pee break, ate some grub and played a little grab ass. I'm sure it'll soon be time for another nap.
