Two weekends in a row - A 7 pointer each time.

Post by cajuntec »

I've been hunting since 2002, but have never shot an antlered buck. I've shot a few does in the past, but since moving to TX, I hadn't shot a thing (Sept 2008).

This year... that changed. I've got an awesome new hunting spot, and plenty of deer, pigs and turkeys. This is the first year I've hunted with a crossbow, and I have to say... I'm hooked. I still love my other bows (trad and compound), but I'm really enjoying hunting with this setup.

Opening day (two Saturday's ago), I shot my first buck - a small 7 pointer.
This weekend (yesterday), I shot my second buck - a larger 7 pointer.

All the best,
Glenn
