I have the groundpounder, the munch and the danny and all work very nice. I do find that with dannys the weight SEEMS less. Not sure if its fact. The one I have fits with a dovetail and I had a bracket attached to the 380 riser to mount to. I hunt with the quiver off.

In addition to the weight, the ability to slide an arrow in sideways onto the rail is a bonus but its really not that difficult with the Gp or the munch. Cant go wrong with any of them!

I do target shoot and hunt with mine. It can be turned any direction you wish on your bow. My M-330 shoots great with it and I think it weighs a little less than my Munch Mount on my Vortex.

So...it can be turned parallel to the mainframe of the bow?

I have Danny's mount on my 380. It's very sturdy and great for slinging your bow like a rifle.

Danny uses a spider washer (included) to keep these from moving or getting loose.

How's that spider washer on the rail?

I have not tried the DM mount so cannot provide a qualified opinion ---but!---I have two Munch mounts and have thoroughly tried/tested/abused them --- thus I can say they are a very reliable and well built mounting system and I highly recommend them.

Sorry guys but I wouldn't add that to my bow for anything. Looks awful, and makes the overall package size so much bigger, but to each their own right. I suppose it's functional but I would not care to be monkeying around trying to get an arrow under that while loading.

I use the factory quiver mount on the right side of the bow. I'm right handed and carry the bow on my right shoulder so the quiver doesn't hit my back anyway. First thing I do in the stand is take the quiver off...it's only to get my arrows to the stand. With arrows so short, I've been thinking of taking the quiver off entirely and using a hip/leg quiver.

I had Danny Miller's top mount on my Matrix 355. The provided steel star washer is designed to dig into the softer aluminum riser in order to not move. I didn't have the heart to use the steel star washer against my aluminum riser, so I used a flat steel washer with it. The mount with my added steel washer wouldn't stay tight, so I removed it. Danny did tell me his mount uses this steel star washer, so it wasn't a surprise and gave it a try.

I now use a Kwikee Sidewinder hip quiver mount. Image

I use a munch mount on my Vortex and I really like it. It's not a big deal to pass the arrow through it to load once you do it a few times. I really like that Sidewinder hip quiver mount. :)
