F up hard tonight

Post by No One »

As I am getting ready to walk down the road to hunt. I was on back porch getting dressed. I failed to notice the does feeding in back yard. When I did notice I scramble to cock bow and get the arrow in.. I thought I new my back yard well since that where I practice most of the summer. I must have used the wrong cheron cuz the deer trotted off like nothing happen. I found arrow no blood so I recheck the scope and its still dead on. I feel like a major screw right.

Back yard hunting can be tricky.
Maybe that's why some times some one else's yard works better?

Get back out and try again....it will happen.

Think of it as paying the dues...

I paid hard last year. This year I'm afraid I'm starting to border on taking out a loan...

Not saying I've ever used the wrong mark, but that's why I use a scope with a single crosshair.

That's a bummer for sure but not the end of the world. You know your scope's on so poke a hole in one of those does the next time for sure. :)
