Incredible story. I'm sure as a father you could not be more proud. I can't wait until the day comes where I get to share a similar experience with my son.

Simply awesome!

A deer is just a deer. It is the stories that surround them that make them spectacular.
This story is one of the spectacular ones, father and son, even just one deer would be great, but a double? I read forums just for stories like these, I am happy for every success, but this is a whole new level. Made my day.
I was getting texts from a mutual friend while the hunt was on, edge of the seat material.
Great job gentlemen!

My kids and I have doubled and tripled, but always all doe. To double up with both bucks would be something special. Being able to see his shot and hit must have been awesome. I sit about 75 yards from my daughter and on many occasions don't see the deer until it already has sprung a leak.

Congrats to the both of you.

Congrats on the double! Hey I recognize the pond in that last photo - rode horses through there through the 80s and the 90s
