Well, ZERO deer today! It was the opener for duck season, and I hunt about a quarter mile off the river, so I heard a lot of gun shots, and my little buddy got 3 birds, so not a bad day overall. Never fails though, I take vacation, the weather turns to POOP!

Tomorrow should be good, then whatever happens, happens.

Well did changing bows give you any better luck

I have been there and tried the same approach while rifle hunting Elk in the past. I have been known switch back and forth between my Remington 300 Ultra Mag and my old tried and true ( but near obsolete ) 350 Remingon Manum.

Sometimes it really does help get those stars alligned correctly to make good things happen.... Best of luck Dan, hopefully the weather will turn bad and the hunting will turn better.
