ill get another pic. But you did a great job . The evergreen trees hold up great. Ive used evergreens to brush in a stand where there were none for a half mile the deer dont know.dont be afraid to wire tie some up top too. I think doing this really helps these deer arent stupid they know what a stand is. Especially a big stand . The 20 minutes it takes is well worth the hours ur gonna spend in it

That's what I was looking for. I couldn't remember how you had yours done. So now I see that you've zip tied burlap to everything.

I thought it was a two man stand. It sure looks more like a 1 and a quarter man stand in the pictures.

Hey, you should've seen me and my son both up there. My buddy had left by that time so he didn't get a pic of it. It was tight but it was doable. I'll admit, it's a better one man stand than it is a two man stand. Plenty of room with one in it. But I can't afford the $250 bigger models, I guess you get what you pay for.

I didn't have time yesterday to build it after getting the stand put together so I just took it up without one. When I was sitting in it I'm not sure if it wasn't bad or if I was just too busy to notice anything. I'm going to hunt this Saturday all day from it and then I'll have a better feeling of whether or not I actually need something.

I am going to take up the advice of getting black rubber matting for the platform though and possibly do the same thing to the seat under the pad. I just checked, Lowe's has a 24"x36" rubber mat for $9. If I cut it in half it'll fit both the seat and platform. I know the seat is 38" but I think I could live with an inch on either side. Then I'll just cut slits through it for the seat cushion to Velcro underneath to the stand.

I'm also going to get some pipe insulation from Lowe's for around the rails.

Went to Lowe's tonight and got burlap, a 6' piece of 1" pipe insulation, zip ties, a 24"×36" black rubber mat, nonslip skid tape, and a Python cable lock. I plan on sprucing up the stand this Sunday a little further.

Joe, going to make you proud.
