those wicked ridge bows ive seen go through limbs failures few years back so i guess he got a good one  how many sets of string and cables did he go through in 7 years? i would send your scope to Danny Miller and see if you could get a credit twords a Leupold.lighted scopes are neat but good glass thats rock solid is priceless.

Nothing worse than buying a new product and then having it fail on you. The warranty is nice but it does not replace time lost.

He had yet to replace a cable it string ... My replacement limbs came from Woodys , I did call Danny about the limbs but because of my rma and my location Woodys handled it.I agree about the lighted scopes, Leupold scopes I can buy at wholesale and that's what I'll end up with ..

I can get both cable and string for under $35.00 .. But my oldest son isn't one to spend money unless the cable or string breaks . I've told him about cable and string stretching and how it effects accuracy and speed but he's still getting his deer ..

Might try a new battery first, mine had the same thing happen, one side worked the other didn't, another member told me this is common, so I put a fresh battery in and worked like a charm the rest of the season. Then I sold it and bought a XB-30,,, Much better optics and better lighted reticle, stepless brightness adjustment. I have had the Crossbones, and with these old eyes its useless the last 10 or 20 minutes of legal hunting after sundown,, but low batteries was what made mine act like your mentioning.

Went hunting yesterday and dealt with a few light showers no biggie right ?? Wrong went back out today and check my scope out from my treestand and I see nothing but fog.. I know the scope is covered by a warranty and yes It will be replaced from my previous RMA , But dam I'm thinking my luck is for crap or I got my hands on bad crossbow .. What's next ??? Of course my nephew is really rubbing it in , He spent $429.00 6 or 7 yrs ago for a wicked ridge that hasn't give him a bit of problems ..lol it's all good

....sorry to hear about your misfortunes rein1...I would consider picking up a spare set of replacement limbs just in case you are out on a "limb" again....I know what others have said...but I just call it the "belts and suspenders" approach....

....with regard to your scope...just bite the bullet and get rid of the stock scope....you will NEVER have issues again should you purchase a Leupold...been on ALL of my firearms and CB's...NEVER once did it act up...

....I have had a TZ and a VZ crap out on me...the varizone came on the IBEX I just bought...left the seller OK got to me with crosshairs on a 45 degree angle...they are just crap...plain and simple....

....if you send in your old POS and pick up either the shotgun or turkey plex 2x7 Dr Danny Miller will ask for an additional $150 from you in the trade....if you go with the Crossbones (which I have) he will ask you for $190 (retail anywhere between $249-$279)....you want year in and year out reliability...Leupold gives it to you and takes the weak link out of the package!

I am not concerned what so ever. I just shoot and don't worry about it. As long as I maintain good arrow weight and brace height with consistent shooting procedures all will be good. If I ever had a problem the first thing I would do is call Dawn to have it looked after and refrain from posting my problems in the hunting section..

I just flung about 50 arrows from my Micro yesterday and everything is perfect with my bow..

Don't know if y'all have seen it but David at Wyvern Creations has posted on his website that he will no longer sell the M-405 because of excessive limb breakage until they fix the problem. He is recommending the M-380 instead.

Sometime ago lots suggested that they would like a narrower bow ,shorter, powerful an Excalibur made them. great improvement after shooting them compared to the older bows. I had my share of splinters on the more powerful older long limb bows with a few dry fires an mostly my fault .

No problems from the lower poundage bows for me.just the way it is an you can expect less limb problems from the lower less stress poundage bows than the high poundage models .high speed high performance bows come with more risk of failure for sure.
