I remember Raymond and his son too, Tyler I think? I always enjoyed his posts and his son's posts about their hunting adventures and successes. It's been quite a while since he has posted. He did have some health issues as I remember. Hopefully they are doing well. :)

...he has been around from time to time...I am not sure exactly when he last posted but he did contribute to the Makena Drive in July at Boofest!

You may be thinking of Ray from North Carolina. He was insulted a few times on this forum and doesn't post anymore. I talk to him on facebook occasionally.

I was thinking the post was asking about Raymond from Nova Scotia. Last I heard from him was 2-3 months ago.

He does not post that often lately, but it was not too long ago he commented on a thread, I think it was to congratulate someone on a deer kill.
Hope all is well Raymond.

Just got off the phone with him. He's still kicking, but not too high.
Said he'd check in on the forum soon.

Oops...wrong Ray. I do remember Raymond from Nova Scotia to though. Had a home built smoker burn to the ground if I remember correctly. Good to hear he's doing alright. :)

Hello Folks,
I haven't been on the forum steady in quite some time and when I did come on it wasn't for very long. Awful nice to know that some of my forum friends here were wondering what happened to me and wondered how I was doing health wise. Thank you all for that, it makes a person feel rather good when friends that I have met on this forum not that long ago has been wondering about me and some of my own family and friends around here locally do not even ask how I am doing or even call. I got a call from Mike, a.k.a. "wabi", the great maker of the one and only wabi deer calls. I wouldn't leave the house without my wabi calls. I enjoyed that call so much though. I don't have a long distance plan to the USA otherwise I would make some calls to some friends in the USA. I was busy doing things and trying to make sure that I stayed as healthy as I can be. I do wish that I had a new set of knees and a new spinal cord though. If only I could shake the daily pain that would be half the battle. I was going hunting with a gang of friends for awhile, all kinds of does and fawns but never got a shot on a buck. No venison in my deep freeze so this year, I will get one though. There is a lot of time yet.
Thanks,
Raymond
