My dad is a disabled veteran, and has COPD so bad that he can't walk 5 feet without gasping for air. I trie to take him hunting as much as I can before it gets real cold.
He had an old Horton crossbow that he had killed a truckload of deer with,and something happened to the trigger mechanism. So he was going to quit hunting.
Back before season came in I got him to come out and shoot my crossbows with me. He really liked the matrix, so I talked him into hunting again this season.
Well it all came together this morning, I had just shot a doe and was getting ready to holler at him on the Walkie when he paged me saying he had one down. It just made my day, and I hope to keep him hunting as long as I can! Here are the pictures of his 4 point, and the doe I harvested.
