Decision was made and payment ready to go to P/O..OOPS !

Post by L. E. Carroll »

I have been on a couple posts here today seeking info on Cabelas 370 Matrix as well as possibly a Micro 335 ( due to some suggestions in that direction )... However, there was also a suggestion to look at a Matrix 330....

Since I had one very early this summer as I got into crossbows I have regretted having traded it off.  Not too terribly bad though, as that's how I came to acquire my present Matrix 355. 8)

This afternoon I stumbled on a Matrix 330 like new with the light package as well as REDs and a 3 pack of new 125 gn Rage broadheads included { I have no experience with them } for less than 2/3 of what I would have spent on either the 370 or Micro at their $899 prices.

My intention is to use it as a Back-up to the 355 and as a replacement to the Axiom SMF as a daily shooter ( that I just agreed to sell to a friend )... I thought this made good sence as it and the 355 I have can share the custom strings and Zombie Slayers I have acquired.

I'm only paying $15.00 more for the 330 to my door than I'm getting for my Axiom however, I am leaving the Nikon Bolt on it with plenty of other add-ons.

How do you think I did ?

I would have bought the Micro because I already have one.. LOL

Good move man. I had a few Matrix 330's and they are great. Bows. Easy on the back and servings..

I have a 330 n a micro . I love the micro for its small size. Never had a limb issue . The micro sounds like a .22 short wen you shoot it even as we know jumping tha string is not n issue. Anyway if i only had one id pick the old reliable no limb issue quieter heavy wide matrix 330 workhorse gir r done everytime you made a wise choice in my eyes . Good luck wid it

I think the redundancy is good (I have virtually identical 380 & 405 - only scopes are different). Ever heard of limbs breaking or anything else on a 330? I haven't.
You did well.

Actually....I did have a set of limbs go on my M-330. I am I think the third owner of this bow that came to me with a black out stock and snow camo limbs. The right limb started cracking straight through so I sent them to Danny and got blackout limbs in return.

Before going to the PO to mail off the Postal M/O for the M330 I just had to go look at and hold one of the Special Sale Package Camo. Micro's Cabelas has on sale for 4 more days... 8)

You know what happened  I shot it once and started dealing :D :D I found I did not need the C-2 and talked the archery manager into keeping it as it was still in the factory packaging and giving me $100 more off on the bow. That plus my 5% military-veterans discoulnt got me out the door... for $760 whooo hoooo plus there is no sales tax in Oregon where I was when I bought it.

I'm wondering if I can be forgiven and invited into the Micro as well as the 355 club?

Ile forgive you!

Of course I also traded my 335 towards a Micro so.....

But what you really should do if it gets released is get yourself a Micro 355, that way your in both clubs with just one bow!
