Had to put the pooch down today. 17 years 2 months old. He had a good life. I'll miss him.

My condolences. It tough I know.

I had to put our old cat down a couple of years ago. I don't care for cats but she was a good old gal. It surprised me how emotional I got. The vet's aide calmed me down some.

My daughter the vet gave me specific instructions on how it had to be done including me holding her paw as she expired.

My heart goes out to you. I hope the sadness is quickly replace by the good memories left behind. :)
