Nitemare Nanny and a thanks to a Texan!

Post by RexKay »

So I pulled the 8 n skate yesterday ran out at 1 and raced up to my place. Made it before 3, decided to sit back stand at my 8 acres on far south side near neighbors nicely mowed yard and pond. Good funnel corner, and a fairly tightly squeezed opening in SE corner of my lot. So I take my micro with stock quill( refletched w/blazers) up the stand. Kinda warm and windy whipping from south. So about 515 3 deer walk in behind me the biggest nanny turn sideways 12yds , I see plenty of shoulder thru the Crossbones. Then I hear PING! WHACK!...no luminok...but it was and astounding mule kick.. Run back way they come....crashing and commotion!! It was pretty cool action folks!.. So I get down..getting dark quick. Good blood..in woods 30yds dirt nap dead. Home at 8 deer hanging..

Stock Quill..only thing 150 grains were the Boltcutters I had. I want to thank flightattendant100 for the broad heads I received in the "give away" thread Derrick started early this year. Thanks again!!

Way to go rex!

Michigan deer hunting rules!
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

Very nice! Way to get it done. :)
