Shooting from Tree Stand

Post by ko4nrbs »

I haven't shot my Exomax from my tree stand yet? I've heard you still hold as if it was horizontal. Is this correct?

Yep, it's going to be close enough to kill any deer you shoot at!

Yes, not enough difference to worry about at 20-25 yards. :)

I was skeptical a few years back, so nothing like proving it to yourself, right? I had no noticeable difference in kill spot aiming on a 3D deer replicating a 200# buck at 40 yards from an elevation of 20'. We only practiced on the deer, no dot shooting, it is illegal to shoot dots out of season in Indiana!

Put the crosshairs where you want to hit and let her fly. No adjustment necessary. I hunt from a ground blind as well as a 15 ft tripod, and the POI is the same.

The only thing to remember though is to aim at your target and envision the exit point due to the angle.

Now then, get your equipment, your quiver and bow, and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.
