Thanks for the kind words everyone. Gonna head out again with my dad Wednesday morning and see what's prowling around the farm. Checked my SD card tonight and a huge 8 point has been visiting my bait pile by my double ladder stand. After hunting I'm going to process the spike and get him in the freezer...and maybe toss a chunk or two in the frying pan for dad and I. Sort of a hunters shore lunch.
Very excited about this hunt as it will be my first time hunting with my dad. He turns 70 this month and just got his PAL and hunting license this spring. This will be a very special hunt for me and I'm very excited.
