2nd successful year!

Post by Lugnut »

Well last week my matrix 405 took its second career buck and first doe.
I couldn't be happier.
I even found my arrow about 20 yards away from where it went through my buck stuck 2" into a pine tree. That's where things get a little interesting.
The next day I noticed while sitting in my blind again that I could see the hole in the pine tree where I dug my arrow out. So I lined up my 30 yard reticle where I shot the buck at, and dead on with the 50 yard reticle dot was that hole in the tree. I broke out my rangefinder and sure enough that tree was 50 yards away.
I had a tad high double lung shot on that buck. I know this bow is a powerhouse but I was really shocked to see this.

Congrats. Sounds like your 405 really delivers. :)
