First Buck with my new Matrix310

Post by Fingerlakes »

At 4:30 this Buck walked across the corn field. His back to the wind. I sat on the ground in my work duds and froze. As he went back into the woods, 25 yards away, several trees blocked line of sight. I spun around to the backside of the tree and lined up on an opening I hoped was 30 yards. The buck never realized he was hit. Straight through. Lungs, a bit high. 6 steps later he just flopped over and expired. The boltcutter did the job.
Thanks for a great product!
Jeff

Thanks Guys! I'm sure a lot of you are in the same boat. I was ready to give up bow hunting. 10 years ago I purchased 60lb bow because shoulder issues made the 70lb. To hard to draw.
This season I limited practice for the same reason. Last week I lost a decent Buck to a poorly placed shot. The next day I purchased the EXcalibur. With a little luck maybe I can keep archery season going for another 10. :)
