Worked hard on a big job today . Was thinking of callin up n ordering a new 355. First said naww you dont really need it ! Then before i knew it somethin came over me n i had ordered it from woodys . Ohh well i wont open it till x mas.
Vixen 2, metal ibex,Phoenix,sapphire,matrix 330 ,matrix 355 ,vortex and baby grand piano y25 relayer.
Trigger tecs,leupold crossbones and nikon bolts.
Zombie slayers and mostly swat broadheads.

350 grains is the Excal recommended minimum weight for an ARROW from the 355 Matrix Platform. I would most certainly steer clear of a "splinter" or wooden arrow as suggested above!

On another note, I have full confidence that Hunlee is shooting either aluminum or carbon arrows. I doubt seriously that he is using wooden arrows when he refers to arrows as splinters. Some on here refer to arrows as bolts and our modern day aluminum and carbon arrows don't look anything like the original crossbow bolts.
