Well after Monday night's clean miss on a doe, I was able to fill me one and only doe tag this morning. I had put the kids on the bus 7:50 and then grab the Ibex and Ipad to check my trail cameras. Well the camera's showed a Doe around 5:30am this morning, other then a grouse no active to be had. So as I walked back home I noticed a Doe crossing into the backyard which was about 200 yards away. I had now to do a quick but quite sneak and ended up shooting this doe at about 20 yards frontal shot. Not a shot I want to make but it was what I was present with and I knew the Ibex, boo string and BEE arrows could do the job just fine. So my season is now over with a doe hanging in the cooler. Friends have three buck tags left to be filled so I will try and help them out if possible.
