How can I speed up my 90s Exomag and Exocet

Post by Old Buddy »

I have a 90s carved tip Exomag and Exocet. What can I do to them to pick up some speed? Newer riser and limbs? What would that cost and is it worth it?

What I did was added:
-Mag tip limbs. + 4-5 fps
-Teflon coated the mainframe. + 3 fps
-Added my own custom angled shims between to riser and limbs that add and additional 2 degrees of forward limb angle. + 5-7 fps.

You can also shoot a lighter arrow and use a custom string for additional speed.

If you could gain 20 fps I would think that would be very expensive if even possible, and when you are done, you would have to have a chronograph to realize any benefit. 20 fps is not noticeable thrust me 325 to 345 fps difference in my Matrix does nothing that I can tell out to 40 yards. I would suggest saving your money and if you want more performance buy a model that is already rated for that performance. You will get a lot more for your buck.

But by all means call Danny Miller,,, see what danny thinks,,,
