My quiver goes in my back pack. I like to keep my bow as light as possible. No quiver or quiver bracket attached to weigh it down and clutter up my bow...

I take mine off when up in tree stand. It's not a bother when walking for short distances. Based on the various crazy things that I saw at the range in many years shooting a vertical bow, I will never have a quiver anywhere in front of the arrow launch point, that 's just me being super cautious. If you want a different type of quiver other than the factory one and feel safe with it then go for it.

I have mine on top with a single post mount and I also have shortened the quiver so I can get it lower and still see under it through the scope

I use a Danny Miller single post top mount on my M405. Dan sent me extra tapered shoulder washers to mount the post and not scratch my riser. I use it because of my Dr Stirrup kit.

Been hunting with my Vortex recently and it has S5s, D-Bars and a Munch mount. And it is SUPER front end heavy. I will be making adjustments after season to remove the D-bars and put the stock quiver mount back on. I won't go as far as removing the bracket, but my quiver is only on the bow while walking to my stand then it comes off. If in a tree, I pull up the bow, load it, then drop the quiver back down with the pull rope.

most times in a tree stand i take my quiver off . the standard excal quiver is about 61 grams .my ystyle mounts are about 123grams so you add 2oz to the bow . i use a quickie 3 arrow quiver but place 2 arrows in it and the bow is less weight total than a standard set up. if you look at this picture you can see one arrow in the quiver . the one that went threw the moose i think is still flying .thats a 405 custom and i could not find the arrow

I use a munchmount on my Vortex as well. My quiver is only on the bow when I'm carrying it to and from the stand/blind. Once I'm set up the quiver comes off. I have quiver brackets mounted at all 3 of my tree stands and clip my quiver to the tree beside me or lay it on the ground beside me if I'm hunting from the ground. :)

Munch Mount Quiver for me all the way. never gets in the way when you carry your bow no matter how many cloths you have on . easy to remove when you get to your hunting spot. and don't get in your way when you are on the stalk. :D :D :D

Before I ever saw a Munch mount I saw the need for an alternate to the factory mount.
Turns out my home made one of aluminum does about the same job as a Munch.

That's a great idea .,I made little rats that mount onto those holes for the site then the munchmount bolts to the ears , adds a little weight but gives the bigger opening to load an arrow . The single post mounts load faster but even my daughter at 14 had no trouble loading her vixen at 3d shoots it's just a kitties practice

X2, My quiver is also attached to my day pack, I used the same mount that the quiver slides into and, mounted it the straps of my day pack, I just took a scratch all and heated it to melt holes in the straps and used the same screws to attach the bracket to the straps behind me,,,,, Works Great !!!! :D Dave
