New lineup looks great!

Post by Minnow »

I think the new bulldog is my dream bow! And I'm loving the micro 355! I just don't really get the advantage of the micro 315? It's only 10lbs less draw weight than the 335, and 20lbs less than the 355? That's 20lbs for 40fps..... Anyways it's exciting

If you're cocking a bow 40 - 60 times at a shoot that 10 to 20 lbs can make a huge difference by the end of the day.

Looking forward to trying out the new Micro 355....

I like the black rail and riser but if it was all camo that would tip the scale..... :)

You need to remember that when cocking an excalibur with a cocking rope ... those increased or decreased listed draw weights of the new models are actually cut in half... Therefore, a 10# increase in draw weight is only an actuall 5 # increase in "felt" draw weight.

I wonder if you would actually feel a difference? It's really just a 2.7% increase.... I know ten pounds is ten pounds but when you compair it to the 270lbs you're already pulling back, then add in the aid you get from the pullies on your stringing aid I'm not sure it'd be substantial. I will agree that getting into the high 200's and close to the 300's is a lot for most people to pull and maybe that's the problem. Anyways I think anybody interested should probably cock one weather upgrading or downgrading.

I agree, the new lineup looks great. Keeping my M380/405. Didn't buy Excalibur to change frequently. Older Excals become classics while older compounds become obsolete.
