Cub

Post by elknut »

I bought another Excal the Cub this time. What would you do to make it tactacal type bow.First upgrade string then I think I'm gonna put a new TT in it and on top a new ADF with a Vortex Spitfire on top. Add a Tac Pack and a Harris bipod with a strteamlight TLR1 Gamespotter. Or is all that to much for a Cubor would you put that on the Micro Nightmare. I woud appreciate any input good or bad.

Thanks
Rob

Sounds like you are doubling the weight and the price of that bow, not what I would want to do. But if that is your dream rig then go for it. Everyone has their own idea of the perfect gun, bow , rod , canoe , etc.

This maybe why they released the Micro 315...buyers like you...!?

If you're less budget minded and want more perks, then definitely get the Micro 335. What a crossbow!

We've all taken different paths to our happy places. If we all did the same thing, it would get boring pretty quick. Deck that baby out, take pics, and post em so we can see another's dream bow. Above all, enjoy the journey you're embarking on. :D

Funny - I'm thinking about adding the tac pac to my cub too.
I've got arthritis in my wrist and think it would be more comfortable, and it keeps your thumb way away from the string!

if you wanna keep the weight down you can get a piece of polymer rail and cut to fit for a picatinny hand grip. ive done this to my Cub. the TAC pac IS A BIT BULKY AND WEIGHTY.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Slotted-Polymer ... SwiuZTzzp0

Thanks, those are a great idea. I have used those on a different platform and forgot about them.

just a heads up.if you use the polymer rail you need to use the hole and match up the slot.just saw cut the rest off. any picatinny grip will fit. you also need to use the 2 excalibur screws. you are using the quiver mount holes so you wont be able to mount your quiver.i dont like mounting the quiver to my crossbows. i just use a piece of paracord to tie on and make a loop to carry my quiver in while hunting.
