New Lynx! (more pics added)

Post by MTBighorn »

I just got out with my new 380 Lynx...she is awsome!!

Tried it at 10 yards...NEVER shoot at the same spot twice...LOL Image
Image

Then I ran it through the paces out to 100 yards...Just dial the TacZone scope back to 310fps for a dead on shot at 80yrds using the 60yard reference. Then dial it out to the 275fps designation and the 60yard reference is dead on at 100 yards! This is my last three shots at 100yards in failing light.... I don't care what anyone says...I like the TacZone scopes! The paper plate is 8 1/2"
Image

Shooting was with 18" Zombie Slayers with 100gr tips for a total weight of 384grains This bow is FAST...I didn't chronograph the bow yet but I was able to use the top 410fps mark on the TacZone scope to hit 1 1/4" spots out to 60yrds from the bench. I tried the 100gr. G5 SGH's at 80yrds and they fell about 12" low of the field points.

380 Lynx is my favorite bow. But I am still old school with long limbers. You take the pie plate seriously.

Great shooting! The M380 is an awesome bow. Period. Very clever spending the time to play with the scope and figure out what your variable power settings can do. Nice three inch group at 100yards. :D I assume by your arrow weight you're using 92gr brass inserts? That's my setup as well with my M380.

That's some good shooting at 100 yards ,plenty of bows can't do that at 30 .

Congrats on a sweet looker and better shooter!!! Where is the eye candy of that beauty,,,

I get 363 fps with 388 grain Spynal Tapps in mine. with a factory diablo at 352 grains I got 379.2 fps outa the box. I found that 425 to 440 grains is where mine is the most accurate out to 60 yards, where you better not shoot the same place twice,

Thanks guys!!

I got out this weekend with the Lynx and predator call...No wolf but a coyote came in and laid down 250yards away and watched the call for over an hour  I even sent my Blue Heeler "way out" but the yote just laid down real low and flattened his ears! ..It is really open country but I was optimistic!..

Should have launched a Hail Marry...but Zombies aren't cheap!!

Here is a couple pics from the trip...the Lynx looks so GOOD in it's natural environment!!
